Erin Scott-Kafadar
Principal Dancer / Administrative Director
Erin Scott-Kafadar is a highly accomplished dancer known for her exquisite technique, artistry, and captivating stage presence. Born and raised in a family of dancers, Erin discovered her passion for ballet at a young age and dedicated herself to rigorous training.
Her journey began at the prestigious dance school, École supérieure de ballet du Québec where she honed her dance skills and graduated with a degree in classical ballet. Erin’s talent caught the attention of renowned ballet companies, and she joined the Ballet Eddy Toussaint in Montréal upon graduation. With each performance she showcased her versatility, seamlessly transitioning between classical and contemporary repertoire and was quickly promoted to principal dancer of the company.
In addition to her classical background, Erin is also recognized for her mastery of Argentine tango, and was awarded the title of Canadian Tango Champion in 2025. The transition from pointe shoes to stilettos has pushed her to evolve as an artist using her classical training to interpret the fiery passion of Argentine tango. Her commitment to perfection and love for dance shines through in every step she takes in pointe shoes and tango heels and even in a mismatched pair of a pointe shoe and high heel.
Erin’s work within PointeTango dance company, goes beyond the performance and has won the company multiple artistic grants for different projects and books the company’s extensive touring schedule.
Erin Scott-Kafadar’s talent, passion, and unwavering dedication have made her one of the most sought-after principal dancers in the dance world today. Her artistry continues to inspire and uplift audiences worldwide, leaving a lasting impact on the world of dance and tango.
Alexander Richardson
